While out west I bought a used Treo 650 with Verizon on it. The screen has a
gray line across the center. Having replaced the lcd on my 600 I figured I
could do the same. It seem like a good deal at the time for $10.00. Can I
unlock it somehow to use it on Cingular? I pulled the SIM tray and there is
no cutout for a SIM. The box says it is a GSM.

I live in Columbus , Ohio

    Thanks in advance

Verizon isn't GSM, Cingular is. If it worked with Verizon then it won't
    work on Cingular, period.

Verizon is a CDMA carrier, not GSM.

A great deal. If you can replace the LCD, you can get a few bills for it
    on eBay, I'm sure.

Nope- Verizon is CDMA, Cingular is GSM.

Sounds like that box doesn't belong to that phone. There is no SIM card
    in a Verizon CDMA phone.

Fix it, eBay it, and buy a GSM version.

    Good luck!
