Mobile Phone Environmental campaign!

Hi all, don't know whether you guys have seen this before but thought
I'd post it anyway. Upluggit is an environmental campaign, run by Rob
Bell a climate change ambassador, to encourage people to disconnect
their phone chargers when they're not in use.

'Unpluggit is the world’s first campaign dedicated to helping prevent
climate change one plug at a time. If Rob gets to his target of 10,000
signatures, he’ll be on his way to the Arctic to experience at first
hand what global warming is doing to our planet.'

Let's send Rob to the Arctic! go to http://www.unpluggit.co.uk

p.s as you can tell i'm new, if this is in the wrong forum please let
me know. Cheers!

Agreed . But unfortunately it's become the 21st century new religion
where the Govs around the world will see it as a chance to tax the
crap out of people under the name of global warming..

Not to mention create some amazing new profit centers for car
manufacturers, air pollution companies, and whole new industries also to
tax.

The ozone hole over Antarctica is millions of years old...before my old
'73 Mercedes 220D had R-12 in its air conditioner. Remember when the
greenies and freon companies colluded to bring the price of freon from
68c/16oz can to $8.00/12oz can with stupid R-134a we don't need?

The Earth is NOT in a sealed bubble. It's in the full blast of gases
streaming off a fairly good-sized thermonuclear star. It's why the air's
still blue, in spite of my 57hp diesel car.

My sailboat friends smuggle R-12 in to me from Caribbean islands. A 16
oz can of R-12 costs less than a dollar if you buy it in case lots down
there. IT'S MADE IN TENNESSEE, DAMMIT!
