advice on purchase

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a cellular phone that will meet the following
requirements:
- Rugged design, does not need to be small.
- GMS compatible with full GPRS modem capability
- No bells and whistles such as camera
- Possibility to connect external antenna to improve range.

I intend to use it on a boat, primarily to send/receive email via GPRS.

Any advice much appreciated.

Hi,
I forgot to mention, emails to/from laptop, so rs232 or bluetooth link
required. No ir link (bad experience). Prefer rs232, will connect via
rs232-USB adapter.
