    hi all,

my battery started draining more quickly,
and my cell phone is only 3 months old

i wonder how much the wallpaper color
    contributes to battery drain?

would a Black background use less battery
    than a White, non-colored one?

    thanks
    waterboy

No. The power consumption of LC type displays is independant of the
image shown. Most of the power goes into the backlight which is running
at a constant level whenever the display is active.

Most phones turn the display off after few seconds of inactivity.
Therefore, the displays contributes only to a very small extend to the
overall power consumption. But since you have a new beautiful background
image now, could it be that you changed the display timeout on your
phone, so you can better look at that beautiful image? Leaving the
display on for 5 minutes each time the phone was touched would surely
    diminish battery standby...

Watching MobiTV just eats the battery, mostly because of the display
illuminator. Processing eats a good bit of it, too, because the phone
gets quite warm away from the display on the Moto E815. The battery sure
    gets hot...(c;

    It's ok...I got plenty of 12V and 115V chargers...TV is great! Alltel
added JamZ R&B video music channel, yesterday.
