In reality, getting smacked with a $10K fine would be plenty for most people.

This ain't right. When my girlfriend's cell is on vibrate, you can call
her and she just lets it ring and ring and ring!

You are a gutless pussy and deserve to be sick. If you had a hair on your
ass you would ***** slap the phone out of the ear of those that use them.
Pussy, stay sick and die.

Where does she carry the vibrating phone? She most likely has an inept lover
for a boyfriend.

I dont, and WONT own a cellphone. I have a landline with an answering
machine. That's all I need. When I leave the house, I dont want to
be bothered by phones. No one in my family has one. We have CB
radios in our cars for road emergencies. Thats it.....
Cellphones were originally designed to be a tool for business people
and for emergency use. These days they are just toys for kids and
many adults alike. They should go back to the days where it cost
around $2 a minute. Maybe they would no longer be used as toys.

Wonderful- you still didn't answer my question- do you follow all of
these rules yourself (as does every member of your family) when
conducting a private conversation in a public setting?

Another usenet idiot uses the "T-word" because he/she has nothing
useful to add to the posting. If you cant contribute to the topic,
dont read it. If anyone is a "troll" it is people like you who just
waste bandwidth with posts that serve no purpose. I just added you to
my killfile.

Considering no one in my home owns a cellphone, I think that is your
answer. These rules cant be applied without a cell. I would have
though that you could have figured this out yourself, but I guess not.

Because I am damn sick and tired of being irritated by the goddamn
things.
Just last night I get gas in my car, go into the station to pay, and
the customer in line ahead of me has a loud obnoxious cellphone ring,
disturbing everyone in line as well as the clerk. Their turn comes to
pay, and they continue blabbing on their phone and ignore the clerk
(WHILE I AM WAITING IN LINE TO PAY). I have no patience for rude
people like that. I waited 5 seconds, before I walked ahead of that
asshole person, and said to the clerk, "If he wants to talk on his
phone, I guess I am next, I dont have time to wait for his goddamn
phone". The clerk checked me out, and the cell asshole gave me a
dirty look. That's just tough. He's lucky he didn't make a nasty
comment, or I may have been throwing some punches. I've about had it
with rude and inconsiderate people on cellphones. One of these days I
am going to really lose my temper and someone will get the **** beat
out of them.
I will admit, I dont like physical violence, so a jammer in my pocket
will actually prevent someone from getting the crap beat out of them
in the future. If I had a jammer at that gas station, I would have
turned it on as soon as that phone rang, and prevented any further
annoyances and/or possible violence.

Ha, at least I don't hide behind a keyboard abusing people because they
disagree with me. I clearly identify myself with every post.
Thank you for adding me to your kill file, while your at it could you
add alt.cellular to your kill file?
