There only appeared to be two carriers that worked in Cambria, Ca's
Central Coast region, Verizon (For sure, even from out in the ocean, I
was told), and Cellular One (Even though putting in Cambria's zip code
in their coverage system, gets no results, but I spoke to a lady using
one perfectly). Anyway Googling both shows me IMHO, that their Pre-
paid is a misnomer. Verizon has two prepaid services, one costing you
99¢ per day, plus 10¢ per minute on calls. And their other plan gets
you so many minutes per month at a monthly charge. Cellular's is
similar to Verizons plan costing you $1.00/day, plus the per minute
call charge. What a bunch of scamming crapola. I do not call that
prepaid at all. I guess the ONLY one truly prepaid service must be T-
Mobiles, oh and maybe Tracfone, but I am not familiar with their
service/plans at all :-).
Hopefully, despite the Calif. Coastal Commission, someone will come to
their senses, and get more towers down there, if for no other reason
than safety!!!
