wireless data connection

I have a Nokia 6230i on o2 PAYG. Whilst I have GPRS I am unable to
establish a wireless data connection with my sat nav. I believe that
the GPRS is not unrestricted but o2 are telling me they have no tariffs
that support a wireless data connection which I find hard to believe.
