Can you do T Mobile in Central Maine ?

I live in Smithfield Maine at one end of East Pond, one of the Belgrade Lakes
here in Maine. While it is scenic there is no high speed internet, no cable
and at least at my house no CDMA signal.

There is a visible cell tower at the other end of the lake that is a Unicel
Tower ( GSM ) so I assume that T Mobile would work here. My old Unicel phone
does.

T Mobiles coverage map looks pretty bleak otherwise. My company has U. S.
Cellular which does fine in most of this rural area but it does not work at
my house. I even tried installing an external antenna with a repeater in the
house to no avail.

My U. S. Cellular phone is an LG VX4400 and is part of a permanent hands free
car phone set up. I would like the new T Mobile phone to be the same.

If there are any Mainers out there with experience with these problems, I
would love to hear from you.

Smithfield, Maine
