Apple Iphone!!

Has anyone used or seen an iphone? From what i have seen on apple's website the phone looks amazing. Also does anyone know how the visual voicemail is supposed to work?

i'm sure we'll all be seeing alot of them by the end of the summer

i disagree we won't be seeing a lot of them because they are f-ing expensive the 4gb with a three year plan is $499.99 and i don't think people are going to buy that and i would like to know how the visual voicemail works?

Visual voicemail lets you listen to you voicemail messages in any order you want. They show up on your phone screen like email. It tells you who the voicemail is from and you simply touch the one you want to listen to, and skip the rest for listening to later if you want. So basically if the 4th voicemail in you box is the one you want to listen to you just listen to it and totally bypass all the rest without doing a thing.

oh that is really nice i really want one and i'll pay $500 for it if i have to but they come out for cingular i heard and does anyone know whats up with the cpf thing it shows that i don't have any

Thanks for the explanation of the visual voicemail. I posted in the forum earlier about a great service I started using called spinvox . The service converts my voicemail into a text message that I can read and also sends it to my email. Its so convenient. I was really hoping that the visual voicemail on the iphone would have something like this.

Are you aware that Cingulbar has agreed to buy like 12 million of these things? That's like phones for 25% of their subscribers. I think this iPhone is going to bite more than a few people both at Cingulbar and Apple in their backsides.

As for pricing; here's Cingular's setup:

• 8GB model $599

I was wondering if the iPhone is worth getting and paying $500 for...Also its a pretty similiar phone to the E6 rokr. Based on your knowledge which do you think is better?

I think it depends on what you are looking for. The ROKR is a smart phone w/MP3 player and the iPhone is a cellphone/MP3 player. The ROKR uses a stylus and buttons while the iPhone steers away from any of that and make the screen totally interactive (although there are side buttons if you want to use).

Personally, if they were the same amount of money to buy, I'd go for the iPhone hands down due to it's email, internet, mp3, video, interactivity, etc. capabilities. Plus the thing has a huge screen (320x480 at 180ppi) which means I can make some killer wallpapers.

i will wait until they work out all the kinks, then maybe I will consider & i mean consider buying it.
