iphone battery life (talk time, audio time, standby)

Apple is claiming that the iPhone will have 8 hours of talk time, 6 hours of internet, 7 hours of video playback, and 24 hours of audio playback. (250 hours of standby)

I find these figures hard to believe on a graphic rich touch screen phone. I guess we'll see.

yeah i work there and we are taking some classes on the iphone and were told that it will only be 6 hours talk time.

Work at Apple? Do you know if the iphone will charge while you have it plugged in?

If you have it plugged in to the docking station/charger/cradle I'm sure it will charge and then stop charging once the battery is all topped up (as with all lithium ion batteries).

All phones charge while they are plugged in...

I still find 6 hours hard to beleave... with such a slimm phone and big screen...I just cant see it...Kind of how the q claims high talk time and stand by... i got no where near that
