Re: Free iPhone Ringtones
I gave this link to a friend of mine because he was paying a heck of alot of money every month on these $0.99 cent ringtones.
He appreciates it so much. He saved alot of money with this!
Thanks so much

What I use is iRinger. You can download it for free on iRinger.net its free and you just upload a song, choose 30 seconds of the song and then send it to itunes! its all there in the one program and you never have to tweak with anything! Try it its Awesome!

Re: Free iPhone Ringtones
FWIW, the iTunes convert-then-change-extension trick is still working, as of iTunes version 9.0.3.15 for PC. Drag the converted AAC-format file out of iTunes, onto your desktop or somewhere. Click twice (do not double-click) on the file, then change the filename extension from .m4a to .m4r. Double-click on your newly-renamed .m4r file, and iTunes stuffs it into the ringtones folder. Sync your phone, and Bob's yer uncle.

Re: Free iPhone Ringtones
Any advice for free ringtones for mac users? I heard something about using garage band to convert songs but I have no clue what to do. I'm a rookie to the iphone and mac so any help would be great.

Re: Free iPhone Ringtones
You can also make them in Garage Band and export directly to iTunes. ...Oops, someone already posted that.
