hi, guys
Well its time for me to put my TMobile MDA to rest so Ive come back here for some more advice.
My contract is up so Im free to move to any company.
IM thinking about an Iphone but im not 100% sure and would like opinions.
Here is what I use my phone for or things I find important (in no order)
1) making calls
2) speaker phone
3) Internet (one of the most important things about a phone)
I like a big screen
4) must not have teeny tiny Treo buttons
5) I want a large screen
6) playing music would be a nice feature
7) text messages
8) good bat life, on my MDA it was terrible (maybe the bat got damaged or something at the end)
9) I want it sturdy
10) if at all possible, i would like it slimmer than the MDA
11) Would like it to be able to act as a modem for my laptop
12)I would really like an alarm
Things I dont care about
1) ringtones
2) pictures (though this would be cool, it was terrible on my last phone and I dont see a lot of use for it)
3) I dont use a bluetooth headpiece and dont ever intend to.
Ive been told the Iphone is the best for viewing the internet (this is a huge priority for me) but I know its not on the G3 network. This annoys me...but on the other hand my MDA was never on g3 either.
SO is the Iphone right for me?
Any other suggestions?
anyone know when the 2nd gen comes out and if there would be a huge differance?
thanks guys
p.s. I cant see me spending more than 400-500ish for it.
