    For all you AT&T customers hoping to grab the pre order of the iPhone 3G S device, well bad news is that they are already sold out. For those of you who are making new pre-orders, you are going to have to wait up to two weeks to get your iPhone 3G S and as for AT&T customers who already have their pre-orders in... you will still have to line up at 7AM to grab a phone, but you're guaranteed slot if you show up. For the rest of ya... Looks like you are going to have to battle over what's left when Apple Stores open at 8AM and AT&T stores open to general customers at the same time.

    so they are sold out on launch day? my at&t gets new shipments in everyday except sunday. will they be sold out for a while or will the stores get more iphone 3gs in the following days?

    These phones were pre ordered online. It looks as if AT&T stores are going to get more, but you may have to wait. If you have one you pre ordered, you will have to wait 2 weeks, if you are an AT&T customer, then you will have priority if you preordered, but you will still have to wait in line to grab one.

    AT&T is still accepting pre-orders, but not for delivery on the 19th, and online pre-orders will be shipped directly to your home, so you actually don't have to wait in line.

    Also, people who are not eligible for an upgrade with AT&T (so they want it at full retail) will have to wait even longer.
