You said Compass..to what are you refering too?MMS and Tethering really? I havent been about MMS unless its an App from the App store, and as for the tethering..I haven't been able too use that..since there isnt a Button for it. I've heard that there's a Way too enable it..BUT...it takes a Bit too do.

I am a 3G owner, and I don't feel there's enough in the newer model to pull me up for an upgrade.

I like the 3G S and since I dont already own an iphone then buying the 3gs is a must

I like my 3G..It's Fast NEVER freezes.. and that's with 6 PAGES OF APPS!!!!+ it's jail broken and I have a few things THAT the 3.0 update should in MY opinion allow the user to delete All SMS instead of Just one at a time..WHICH is TIMELY IF u receive A LOT of TXT...BUT lucky for me I have an App called Clear SMS WHICH is a Jail broken App..+ also an App called Mem tool WHICH is kinda like a Hard Drive cleaner.

Yes, they used the same "shell" for the phone. The only physical difference that is noticeable is the information on the back of the phone Also, all iPhone 3GS' come with the 3.0 iPhone OS installed. This includes the landscape Mail, Contacts, Notes, and Messages, the Spotlight Search, Cut, Copy & Paste, Voice Memos, etc. Because it is a 3GS, it also comes with a built in COmpass and video recorder/editor

the 3gs is faster that's about it
i can't think of any other reason to get it
not less than a year ago i bought the 3g and now you can get the 3gs with more memory for the same amount
