iPhone 3GS or BlackBerry Storm 2

My friend Ben wants to get a new phone and he wants to choose one from these two: iPhone 3GS and Storm 2. He texts a lot and call often. I heard that BlackBerry Storm sucks so what about Storm 2? iPhone 3GS is nice.
Can anyone give some detailed info?

I would go with the Storm 2 just because I have the original. But no one really knows how good the storm 2 is yet, because it's not out yet.

Definately the iPhone. I've had one for a week and with the new Google Sync setup I can't go without it.

The original BlackBerry Storm DOES NOT suck.

With new improvements, it's one of the most successful wireless phones on the market.

The Blackberry Storm 2 is definitely going to be better than the original.

It really comes down to if your friend wants to have an iPod attached to his phone or not. If that's necessary, you can't beat the iPhone. If your friend doesn't care about the phone being an iPod, it really depends on what design he prefers because the functionality is highly similar. Both phones can talk well and both phones text well. I would go with the cheapest one you can get your hands on if talking and texting is the most important.

I just changed the Blackberry of Apple iPhone 3GS 32Gb. I prefer the apple.
Was a lot of trouble with the Blackberry.

Wait and see what feedback you can get from new Storm 2 users before he makes is mind up. Any judgements pre-release are going to be based on rumour, guess work and marketing

Personally comming from VZW to AT&T I would go with the iPhone. I have the white 16gb 3gs and love it. But it really depends what your friend really wants in a phone.
