Will Apple iPhone unlocked work with Tracfone/StraightTalk

I have done a couple of search's and have found that tracfone uses version as is carrier so I am guessing it would be a no, but was wondering if there was something I did not know.

Nope, Tracphone and Straightalk use a very locked down type of Network. Also, 2 different networks. Tracphone does use in some places GSM that ATT uses, but it would not be compaitble I dont believe because their network is very limited and only recogonizes certain phones.

I was researching this too, and no, it will not be compatible since GSM is not offered through Verizon in the same sense it is on iPhone which is all GSM. With Verizon, the have limited GSM access and only on some phones.

What I am researching now is if the new Motorola Android will be compatible which is every bit an equal to iPhone in my research, so given this is a phone supported by Verizon, this would be the perfect solution to what I am looking for.
