For Christmas my parents said I could get ANY phone on ANY service. I currently have a very old LG phone (I've had it for nearly four years now) and it's just... Not really working anymore. I've narrowed my search down to Droid Eris or iPhone. I would have to switch to AT&T for the iPhone... Is it worth it? I like the Eris, but the battery life worries me. 214 minutes of talk time vs. 600 for iPhone? I'm going to be a very heavy user and since I'm at college and don't have a car, I won't be able to charge it up during the day... I think I'm leaving pretty soon to go get one... Any last minute advice on this?!

Are you serious Stick to Verizon if you want coverage, Verizon is rumored to be getting the iphone in 2010.
For now purchase a used phone of your liking on ebay and wait for the iphone to use your upgrade
