My friends and I were fond of searching around the web for new and latest accessories for our mobile phones. But we realized that we haven't seen any iPhone slim cases. And we rarely see those. I wonder if you guys know where we can find it?

What do you mean by slim? Does a scratch resistant sticker count or do you actually need something that protects you from short falls?

I actually need something that protects my iPhone from short falls. Since iPhone was a touchscreen phone, that's what makes it too sensitive. I'm looking for some slim cases because the cases available in the market nowadays were too bulky and I don't like it.

Silicone cases are too thick, as compared to hard shell cases. Take a look at the Case-Mate Barely There Case. It's only 1.07mm thick (thinner than a dime). I have the el cheapo $5 Kroo Shell from the same seller - gizmoaccessories.com. I just measured it and it's 1.44mm thick, about the thickness of a penny.

I guess you're right igiz. What I don't like about silicone cases was its thickness and too bulky to carry. And I'm quite excited about your iPhone case. Is it expensive igiz?

The silicone cases are also very difficult to slide in an out of your pocket. It's great for the added grip, but sucks for sliding in and out of your pocket. My el cheapo Kroo shell is only $5. I think the Case-Mate case sells for ~$20. Gizmoaccessories is not a bad place to check them out and buy them. Fast service. They have user reviews as well...although it's pretty sparse right now.

Personally, I like my phone naked. I had to get a case because I share my phone with my daughter in the evenings and this case has survive 3 ft drops.

I have to warn you though. Dropping the hard shell on carpet is okay, I've don't it at ~5ft. Dropping it on concrete will be painful. I highly doubt any of these hard shell cases will add any protection. You need the cushion of a silicon case to protect you for anything by the shortest falls.

When I bought my iPhone from AT&T, I ordered the premium leather sleeve and holster for $40.

It's awesome...you never have to take it out to get to anything, not even to take pics/video...and has a detachable belt clip. (And the only way you it'll hold the phone is with the screen inwards, so you never have to worry about bumping the bare screen.)

It's a pretty tough, phone, though. I've dropped it with no problems and even left it in my truck when it got real cold (zero) while at work (I work in a military secure area so no electronics) with no effects on it.

(My biggest problem, now, is showing it off to my wife who now really REALLY wants one! :-)

You could get some of the silicon covers. I have iphone cases from iFanatic, it fits snug and does not add any bulk really.
