Apple store safety!

Are all applications and games are safe to download from the Apple store?

I see this is an older topic, but no one has responded to date. Therefore, here is my reply.

It is my understanding that all Apps must go through a testing process before they are allowed to be listed on iTunes. I would say yes they are safe to download. I have done so for a few years with no problems.
