I've had an Apple iPhone 5 for a few weeks. I had no problems and the 4G is fast. Starting this week, every evening around 6P to 9P; I lose data connections (no internet just the buffering symbol) I use AT&T. The read-out at the top says either 4G or LTE and switches aurtomatically; AT&T says this is normal. By around 10P the service resumes. I called AT&T several times. First, they blamed this on too many cell towers in my area. Then, they told me to update my phone. I reset the phone and backed-up on my PC and even re-synched, but to no avail. Last evening, the service returned just after 9PM. I never had any problems with AT&T using 3G on my old iPhone 3Gs. Any advice? Thanks.

Re: Lose Data Every Evening on AT&T iPhone 5
Apparently a lot of people are having this issue. It sounds like it largely depends on where you are located in proximity to cell towers.

Re: Lose Data Every Evening on AT&T iPhone 5
Me too. Every evening, I lose data (internet) on my new iPhone 5 around 5-9 P daily. When I try to go on-line, I get that rolling circle which means trying to connect. I contacted AT&T twice, they blame in on too many cell phone towers in my area. What's strange is I just upgraded from my old iPhone 3Gs which used 3G and never lost data for 2 years! AT&T even had the nerve to charge over $40 for the upgrade! Suddenly, using 4G and LTE, I lose data. Strange. Anyway, AT&T had me update my phone to the latest settings, re-set then re-boot. I even tried synching into my PC again but to no avail. Last evening, I lost all data again. Apple will blame this on AT&T while AT&T will blame Apple. I should have stayed with my old phone which was working fine but a bit slow.

Sorry to hear that!I have never heard about cell phone tower.I use an iPhone4 and it's good to use.Since that no more than one person has the same case with you,it must be the problem of Apple.State it and they will make a change for this.
