Picked up the iPhone 5s this morning

My daughters 5s arrive today, went to Verizon to have it activated, and traded-in her iPhone 5 for $300.00. The 300 had to be used at the time of trade-in, since i order her phone online (verizon) with a credit card, i had to use the 300 either to purchase something in the store or towards my wireless bill. Now, since my Bill was paid i had a Zero balance, and you can only credit your bill with a max of 200 credit OVER the Balance i had to spend 100 in the store, no issue of a store/verizon gift card, so i purchased a Mophie Juice Power station Pro $99.00.

I couldn't purchase Apple Care either, at Verizon... Apple Care has to be purchased at the time of the sale, so we went to the Apple store and purchased that, if i knew all this i would-of purchased Apple Care at the Verizon Website at the time i order the phone online. When i purchased my 5s at the store i was able to purchase Apple Care and used my 300 trade-in towards my total purchase of the 5s and Apple Care. If i didn't pay my Wireless bill i could have used the 300 to pay my bill and credited my account with whatever was left from the 300.

Oh well, now i know.

My daughter hooked her new iphone to iTunes, hit Restore, and she was good to go. Now she having fun with the Fingerprint ID...lol

Lucky you. I hope you're not facing nay WiFi or battery drain issue.

After getting an update for IOS 7 ( 7.0.3 ) last week, the only difference i notice was a smoother dictation response on my Keyboard Mic when texting. Sometimes it would not engage, or hesitate before transferring my voice to text, now its smooth and responsive.

People do not appreciate the importance of the newest chip installed on this product. A lot are ranting about its high price but they do not really know what is more to know than the specs provided by the companies. I am really happy about your story, especially with how you got it for “free”.

IPhone 5s are an amazing cell phone with finger touch lock. I am using it and I can't live without. Great features with IOS 7.
