Bluetooth Management

Enabling / Disabling Bluetooth:

  1. While on the home screen, slide the screen up from the bottom to open the "Control Center"
  2. Press the "Bluetooth" icon to enable (or disable) Bluetooth

Pairing With a Bluetooth Device:

  1. While viewing the home screen, press "Settings"
  2. Tap "Bluetooth"
  3. Tap the Bluetooth slider to enable Bluetooth
  4. After the automatic scanning process, select the device that you wish to pair from the list
  5. If prompted, tap "Pair" or enter the device's PIN and tap "OK". Note: by default, most Bluetooth devices have the PIN / Passcode "1234" or "0000"
  6. Accept the pairing on the other device

Wi-Fi Management

Enable / Disable Wi-Fi:

  1. While on the home screen, slide up from the bottom of the screen and access the "Control Center"
  2. Tap the "Wi-Fi" icon to enable (or disable) Wi-Fi

Scanning and Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network:

  1. While on the home screen, press "Settings"
  2. Tap "Wi-Fi"
  3. If necessary press the slider associated with "Wi-Fi" in order to enable the feature
  4. After the automatic scanning process completes, scroll to and tap the Wi-Fi network that you wish to connect to
  5. If required, enter the network's password and tap "Join"

Deleting a Wi-Fi Network Profile:

  1. From the home screen, press "Settings"
  2. Tap "Wi-Fi"
  3. Tap the blue "i" located to the right of the Wi-Fi network that you wish to delete
  4. Tap "Forget this Network"

Network Management

Manual Network Selection:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Carrier"
  3. Slide the "Automatic" slider in the "off" position to start scanning for networks
  4. From the list, select the desired carrier, then press the "home" button

Switching Between 2G / 4G / LTE Connectivity:

  1. While on the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Cellular"
  3. Drag the "Enable LTE" slider to enable or disable this feature

Enabling / Disabling Airplane Mode:

  1. From the home screen, slide the screen up from the bottom to open the Control Center
  2. Tap the "Airplane Mode" icon to enable or disable the feature

Enabling / Disabling Data Roaming:

  1. While on the home screen, press "Settings"
  2. Tap "Cellular"
  3. Drag the slider associated with "Data Roaming" and bring it in the "On" or "Off" position

Enabling / Disabling GPS:

  1. From the home screen, tap "Settings"
  2. Tap "Privacy" > "Location Services"
  3. Press the slider associated with "Location Services" to enable or disable GPS

Enabling / Disabling Emergency Alerts:

  1. From the home screen, press "Settings"
  2. Tap "Notification Center"
  3. Scroll to the bottom, under "Government Alerts"
  4. Tap the sliders associated with "AMBER Alerts" or "Emergency Alerts" to enable or disable these features
