It's rubbish, an urban myth if you like, the same thing went around that if
an "phone engineer" called and asked you to enter some numbers on your phone
to "test" it you would give them access to your phone, all rubbish.

Hello,

I've heard of such things years ago, the warning note saying it was used to
clone my SIM. I never received this kind of SMS.

> Next please..

Er... A friend of mine has just told me my Nokia's got a speedtrap detector
embeeded :-)

That's correct, it's just next to the coffee maker, and down from the
anti-missile system.

Imagine I wouldn't have put any smiley in my reply, certainly someone would
have definitively believed in the speedtrap detector, "'cause it's the 50th
time I hear of that"...
The anti-missile is too big to be credible (term ?) I'm affraid...

Not a just a coffee maker, as it's possible to have a cream coffee too.
Nice joke BTW, will someone ever believe in all this coffee machine trick
when reading across news' archives ? Richard, should we call you "Tricky
Ricky" instead ?

You shouldn't be, only very rare ones came with the teasmade facility, the
rest of have to cope with add-on modules to even get the coffe maker to
work.

As for the anti-missile system, don't get me started..... friendly fire
anyone?

It's called the Nokia "Don't be so bloody silly!". Seriously though, it's a
myth and always has been.

True. But we could write it, say, a thousand times, we'd still get someone
asking for the speedtrap detector activation. Oh, and happily I've put a
smiley into my reply !

Wouldn't surprise me, some people still believe the moon is made of green
cheese (and that you can have a radar detector on your Nokia phone!).

Been called worse, but on reflection..... maybe not.
