I am a Cingular customer and my Motorola V600 went for a swim with me. I purchased a replacement phone off Ebay that was identical except that it is an AT&T phone. On the main screen, the two selections are "Camera" on the left and "mMode" on the right. My old phone had "Camera" and "Message", which was much more convenient. Is there any way to change the software on the new phone to match what I had before?

Re: AT&T phone replacing Cingular phone (V600)
I doubt it. I had this same phone with at&t. I paid $400 for it when it first came out (been out like a week) and the rep on the phone SWORE to me that when cingular took over I'd have no prob using my new $400 phone. Then they switched everything to cingular, and I got a nice little letter that said that when my contract was up, I had to buy a CINGULAR branded phone, at full price, because my moto v600 wouldn't work, and they wouldn't unlock it so that it would. mMode was at&t's web service. It worked for cingular's service on my phone. You may be able to change the keys if you look in your book.
