My boyfriend has Verizon and I have AT&T. Today while texting, our texts seem to be delayed by about 45 minutes. He says he has been texting other people fine all day. And I have been texting fine as well. Any reasons this may be happening?

Re: Text Delay
Different networks should have nothing to do with it...not as much as it being different carriers. I'm not sure what the delay could be...maybe you guys should agree on 1 carrier?

Re: Text Delay
I get the same delay between AT&T and Verizon Its quite annoying. Verizon has even acknowledge the issue as has Cingular (before they were with AT&T) It may be that they are trying to catalogue off carrier text messages so they can cross bill eachother for using their towers, and the fact it is going from CDMA to GSM. But that is just my guess

Re: Text Delay
the main reason is its bc its going to a diff carrier and from cdma to gsm and sometimes its due to network traffic and the time of day you are sending the message as stupid as that sounds....
