I know different carriers offer different freebies for signing up for various services, but what does AT&T offer? Like where Verizon will give their customers access to ESPN Mobile, MusicID, Wireless Backup, ect free of charge; does AT&T do anything like this?

Mobile TV if its available in your area is usually free for one month, depending on the person you get there is also a two month freebie available. Roadside assistance and mobile back up are free for the first month, other than that, not really much is free at all.

What about some good third-party apps that are free? I am using Gmail and Google Maps. I wanted to use Yahoo!Go, but that isn't available for the Eternity; which is too bad because I really loved the news and weather features in the versions I had a while back. Now that I can start using Java again, I want to get some more apps to play with.

AT&T offers some pretty kickA.. cellphones that would normally cost you around $300 for the phone itself for signing into contract. Rollover minutes dont hurt nethier.

Usually, carriers offer "free" services ONLY because they are actually designed and created by the same company, Mobile TV and Backup assistance for AT&T are an example of that.
Backup assistant and Mobile TV for Verizon and AT&T both come some promotion. Backup assistant for Verizon is free for MyVerizon members and AT&T is free for their My Account subscribers. The Mobile TV is offered by Media Flo for both carriers and therefore contains the same promotion.
AT&T Navigator and VZNavigator both come with 1 month free because they are both designed and created by Naveteq.
It's a general concept.

Re: Does AT&T Offer Any Freebie Services/Features?
This is tough with AT&T though. I have had to learn how to hack third-party software just so I could use it on my Eternity. Because if it doesn't have a Digital Signature, then the app will nag you with (allow, Always ask). So I not only have to find software that will actually work on the touch-screen and odd shape of the Eternity, but also alter the files so that nag stops. It would be so much better if AT&T just gave us freebies and didn't charge for almost every single service and app. I miss Verizon's MusicID and ESPN Mobile; which were both freebies. But I guess with any carrier it's a trade off, because I missed all the freebies Sprint gave away after I switched to Verizon.
Does anyone by chance know if the applications (Where) and (Yellowpages) are free from AT&T? They are both on the Eternity and neither has asked me to pay for them yet. Those would be some nice freebies.
