Cannot send or receive pictures

Hi folks , I recently reactivated my texting capability . I didn't have a messenging plan previously and wanted to save a little money but now I have a plan . I told them I couldn't send pictures and he said I had data blocked . I don't use internet on my phone but they changed that too and said it would work but it didn't so I called them back . We worked on it for almost an hour and still could not resolve the issue . They said it could be because I didn't buy my phone from them , which I didn't - I bought it on ebay from a reputable seller and it worked just fine when I put my sim card in . I just had to change the band on it . I think it was a european phone . Could you fine phone nerds direct me to some information on how to fix this issue? It says MMS setup incomplete . THANKS ! I see from your earlier messages that you are using the phone in your profile. You have to go into the settings of your phone and enter the appropriate information for both data and mms. There are no device specific settings. All settings for a particular carrier are the same regardless of what phone you are using. You just have to enter the information in the appropriate location in the phone. Use the settings at this link and enter the information in the correspondind fields. You may not need all the information. You do not need to enter User Name and Password information.

Thanks Earl! We actually input all of that info already . Wondering if I should call Motorola now - that oughta be a nightmare . I don't really need to send pics anyway I suppose but it would be nice .

Did you change the settings to use the information you entered as the default?

Earl , I sure wish I knew exactly what you mean ! Do you mean to erase the values that were already on the line such as to remove the 80 that's there to input the 9201? If so , then yes . Thanks for your persistence ! Jim

I purchased an unlocked motorola V3 from ebay. Works fine, except I cannot send or receive picture messages. AT&T made sure all of my setting were correct for them, both messaging and web access, but It is still not working. They suggested I check on the internet from my PC for help.

My friend has a iPhone that can't send or receive MMS. He has the option he just can't receive or send them :\
