If you've been hoping and waiting for a version of the Droid and you're with AT&T, there may be good news in store for you. The FCC had passed a GSM version few days ago with 3G support for Europe and now North America is getting their own version of the Droid. Although an exact release date has not been set, it is expected to land at AT&T and/or Rogers.

Re: Droid coming to AT&T
I'm pretty sure it'll be going to Rogers, not AT&T...but maybe...
However, I think it is unlikely for Verizon to release their contract on this device...so i'm not sure how it'll work...at this point only Verizon can have it in the USA.
