News: AT&T Airo Wireless A25is handset and ZERO charger

Two new products have been introduced by AT&T and they are the AT&T ZERO charger and the Airo Wireless A25is.
The AT&T ZERO charger is a unique charger in which when left plugged in, it will detect if the handset is connected or not and will cut off the power supply from the socket if the phone is not connected, saving energy.

The AT&T ZERO was designed by Superior Communications, with a 5-star efficiency rating and a block-and-cable design “for maximum interchangeability”. This means that users can use the same charger for future handsets.

The AT&T ZERO charger will become available this May and will come in recycled paper.

Now comes AT&T's first ruggged smartphone that is considered a safe smartphone, called the Airo Wireless A25is. Users who work in an environment of explosives, chemical manufacturing, military, and pharmaceutical industries, will find the Airo Wireless A25is geared for their purpose.

The Airo Wireless A25is can be submerged in water up to 5 feet for 30 minutes and meets military specifications 810-F/G. The handset is also shock-proof and features: Windows Mobile, a 2.8 inch touchscren display, GPS and GPS telematics applications, Bluetooth, Push-to-Talk, and it supports “AT&T’s suite of line of business mobile applications.”

although the price has not been announced, the AT&T Airo Wireless A25is is available today.
