AT&T just announced the Pantech Ease touchscreen sliding QWERTY phone yesterday as a "first quick messaging phone with menus and features designed for users who seek simplicity in their wireless device".
The AT&T Pantech Ease is great for not only teenagers but adults as well and is categorized in the same family as the Pantech Breeze and the Pantech Breeze II. The Pantech Ease has two modes; Advanced and Easy, in which the Easy mode is ideal for the older generation.
The AT&T Pantech Ease features: a 3.2 inch screen, HSPA, HTML browser, AT&T navigator, Voice Mode (users can dictate messages instead of typing them), and a 2MP camera. The Pantech Ease is expected to launch on June 20 for a price of $69.99 on a two year contract and after a $50 mail in rebate.

Re: AT&T announces the Pantech Ease QWERTY phone
I just bought this phone and really like the features on it especially the switch from easy to advanced mode. One thing I don't like is the reception of this phone. My old phone got great reception everywhere and this phone is a bit finicky about reception. If you live in a big city or somewhere you have massive reception you would be alright with this phone.

Re: AT&T announces the Pantech Ease QWERTY phone
Just got one. So far so good, except a couple of issues: battery seems to go much faster than my sony ericsson (about three times as fast with same usage). Charger is tricky to connect to the phone. Having a hard time finding a headset adapter.
