News: BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 & BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 announced by AT&T

As rumored , AT&T will be launching the BlackBerry Curve 3G and the Blackberry Pearl 3G. The BlackBerry Pearl 3G 9100 will launch on October 17 for a contract price of $149.99.

AT&T customers who want a BlackBerry device but don't want to spend that much money can grab the BlackBerry Curve 3G for a price of $99.99 on contract. The availability date of the BlackBerry Curve 3G has not been mentioned by AT&T but was stated that it would be here before the holidays.

The OS on the BlackBerry Curve 3G will be updated to BlackBerry OS 6. BlackBerry Pearl 3G will not get an update and will remain at OS 5.
