    Hello-
New to this forum and I have a basic, kin of Nube question-I have had many phones on the past, recently gave my wife my Iphone because her phone was terrible. I am now in the market for a new smartphone, and I am tied to At &T. I was wanting something kind of different, something that no one else really has. EVERYONE has a Iphone, yes they are great. But I had one, and I still have my Itouch, so I would really like something different. I have been looking at some HTC smartphones, Palm's, even looked on the web at the Dells and the garmins. Interested in the HP's. But what would really interest me is getting a phone no else has, not a real run of the mill Iphone type phone. SUggestions??
I don't text much, maybe 20 texts a week. I listen to music, but I will keep my Itouch for that. I watch movies, I have ROKU, but again, Itouch for that. Let me know what is out there, something that won't cost me a pound of flesh and 2 years off of my pension.
Different appeals to me. Maybe a Palm, they are getting bad reviews and maybe out of the
business. HTC? I have seen some bad reviews. Garmin? again a minor player but maybe. that is an option Let me hear from you...PS love this site where have you guys been all of my cell phone life?????

Different types of phones are not my speciality, how to save crazy amounts of money off your cell phone bills is.

I would stay clear from the Garmin phone, I can't imagine them staying in the cell phone business. If you wanted something no one else had look into some unlocked world phones that can run on any network. It's going to cost a lot since it's unlocked but I'd never buy a phone with a contract again so I wouldn't discourage you from that.

Also the new samsung galaxy's are pretty new. Other than that, any new phone that come out people rush to get and it doesn't become that exclusive anymore. good luck

If you want something different take Motorola FLIPOUT. Design is very interesting (even unique), and the features are not bad - Android 2.1, QWERTY keyboard and 2.8 inch capacitive touch screen, 3MP camera, A-GPS and this is just part of the story You can also check Upcoming AT&T Phones, there are some interesting suggestions like HTC Surround which is windows phone 7 device
