Ford Chevy. Suzuki vs. Honda. Car Vs Pick-up truck. Everyone prefers what they like best which of course makes sense. Such is the case with the almighty two: the APPLE OS and the ANDROID OS. Typically one prefers one over the other by a large percentage. In that group myself and to cast the first vote Ill take Apple (iPad/iPhone) over Android any day of the week.
My thoughts on Android (still owning the XOOM and having owned the Infuse) is that - it requires the user to not only attend but graduate from Harvard Yale and Princeton - to be able to figure out the Android OS.
We all know why many love Android (because of its massive customization ability and settings) but unless you are a genius and willing to spend a very long time trying to master Android you arent going to do well with it.
One of my largest complaints (again which I realize all Android lovers like) is that every app has 3,852,976 settings. And either over or above each setting is a one line explanation of what that setting does which sounds ethical - except for the fact - 90% of those one line explanations - dont tell anywhere near enough to understand what the setting actually does or how to use it. In fact most of these explanations - do nothing but confuse you (unless youre an Android lover). Too too complicated.
Worst of this multiple settings within each app is that these settings conflict with other app settings either canceling out a prior app setting or - if not allowing that setting to work concurrently with a second or additional app settings which - when its a ring tone or some type of notifier has them all going off at the same time. Oh isnt that fun especially when trying to shut them all off - or even locate which app it was - you set what to. And make no mistake about it the majority of Android lovers have a zillion apps and they cant help but have countless conflicting issues.
If you really have it together; if you possess some of the finer nerd and geek qualities you will love Android. It is a great OS for those who want total control over their device and have the intellect to REMEMBER what they set up - and how to manage it all.
As for myself I have none of the qualifications to operate Android hence my Xoom sits here collecting dust ONLY used for a STAND ALONE GPS in the car without the need for internet. It is a GREAT GPS - without being connected to anything else.
The main thing I very much dislike about Android (and this may not be the case with every Android device) is that a) It takes 2 to 4 minutes to get up and running. Too too long. Nothing like the light switch: flip it and its on. No warm up needed. (iPads & iPhones instant on) b) The Android is a computer inasmuch as they are actually a small computer which means - they are terribly susceptible to viruses and infections. And you know I can get all of those on my PC I want: I dont really need any on a cell phone or tablet. Whereas Ive had 3 iPads and 3 iPhones - and never as much get a hiccup with the APPLE OS.
Or simply put there are many two and three year olds (and younger) around the world - using iPads because they are so so so easy simple and forgiving yet not the same with Android. Granted - Android has the well in demand Flash but mark my words so will the iPad in the next two versions. Apple has new blood in Corporate and it is just a matter of time.
Though I realize this subject will be venomously defended (for Android) - if the truth be known you could take every company on earth selling an Android device (pads tablets and cell phones) and add every single sale all together and they wouldnt equal half - of what Apple has sold in iPads and iPhones. Apple pads and cells dominate no matter what anyone else tells you. And when the new iPhone5 comes out shortly its said to have a 4.3 screen or larger - which will seriously cut into all Android cell sales.
WITH THIS HAVING BEEN SAID & READ .
its time to cast your vote: APPLE OS or ANDROID. To be fair we will post this on both AT&T and VERIZON in thinking the majority of users will be on one or the other and to be fair to the overall count we need both company supporters to have their chance to vote.
So please cast your vote on which one you prefer.

Hi stylus-r-us! Hey I Like both Apple OS and Android OS. In case of Apple OS you have the choice to pick up different apple accessories like iphone, ipod, ipod touch, ipad and much more. On the other hand, we can get the Andriod OS in different phones like NOKIA, SAMSUNG and likewise.
