    Hi everyone i asked the same question in t-mobile forum and got no replies so ill try att

    we are coming to the usa in october and me and my wife have unlocked Galaxy S3 GT-I1900T handsets we would like to use the prepaid option

    last year using a iPhone 4 we paid 80 usd for 30 days access with unlimited untimed calls to fixed phone lines is Australia


    also we have the ipad 4g would like to get a sim for that as well with data

    any help would be appreciated

    Hey wilburshere ,

    To confirm, yes your unlock Galaxy S3 will work with AT&T in the states

    I can confirm it will work with 2G speeds 100% but for 3G/4G you will need to check what network bands your phone uses and confirm that they are the same that AT&T uses.(sam with the iPad)

    but 100% it will work for phone calls and data on 2G speeds just pop in the sim and you are ready to go.

    2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
    3G Network HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100

    those are the specs for the phone i have

    oh and the ipad is the new version 4g LTE

    ok im now in the usa got my phone working with att the 3g aspect is working fine

    i didnt need to go into the store already had a micro sim and used a refill card from walmart

    why dont walmart sell these micro sim activation kits the bloke in the store said they dont
