Charge for using www.vzwpix.com?

Does anyone know if there are any charges when you send an audio file(ringtone) to your phone with www.vzwpix.com? Of course there's the text message usage, etc., when you send it to your phone, but are there any additional charges that anyone has received from Verizon? Thanks for the info.

By the way, this is by far the easiest way I've found to get ringtones for the 8900...Go to eringers.com, save the ringtone to your computer, and send it to your phone through www.vzwpix.com.

sweet eringers is nice, thanks..as for the charges i think it counts as a picture message when u send an audio file. so like 15 cents or something?

It costs 25 cents to receive the picture message assuming you don't have a package. Outside of that, it deducts airtime for the duration of the file transfer. Still, not too shabby considering what ringtones cost through Get it Now.

By the way, I found another way to get ringtones instead of using eringers. On google or yahoo, type in the artist you're looking for+midis, and you can get pretty much any song by anyone in midi format(which is what it has to be in to send it through vzwpix.com). And, you can usually find pretty good versions. I've been able to download them to my computer without any probs.
