8410 ring tone problem (text)

i have an 8410 and when you recieve a text it will not ring. it will vibrate and beep forthe reminder but no ring

what can i do i need it to ring

Go into your settings and change the Text Message Alert to whatever you want it to be

i have done that and it will not ring i have checked other and they dont ring when you recieve a text eather. im not real sure if maybe it is like the just a software prob idk

Mine does that. I thought that was sapouse to do it. WHEN I had text messaging, it would vibrate and go BEEEEP BEEEEP BEEEEP and show the screen with the waving post card or whatever, like it does exacly on my voice mail.

Hm, I don't know. I don't have txt msging anymore, my bills got too high on that stuff and my mom thinks it's crap. =\
