Cricket Audiovox8900 ?

For Christmas I recieved the Audiovox8900 from Cricket. So far, I LOVE IT! (Compared to my tiny candybar Motorola C343 phone).

For the data cable I know you have to have a cellphone email address to send the information. As far as I know, Cricket does not use email addresses for cell phones. Is their any other way to transmit information without the email?
