audiovox 8900 freezing

hi i am new and i been reading all the threads about brewsky and have been able to connect and upload a midi file. but since then my phone freezes when i hook up the data cable connected to the pc. I powered off/on a few times and rebooted the pc. I uninstalled the drivers also. I ant connect to the phone anymore does anybody have any suggestions. if I unoplug the cable the phone works fine. please help. thanks

My phone will also lockup when I plug the cable into it, but only when the phone is flipped open. If I plug the cable in with the phone closed then open it, it works fine.

I see what comm port are you syncing with. i cant sync anymore and i been trying all of them. let me know thanks

Some models of 89xx Phones will reboot while trying to interface with the PC. This is caused by charging cables. The Phone Mall only sells non charging cables for the 89xx phones now.

I still tried with the cover closed and I cant connect at all to the phone using brewsky. I tried all the comm ports any ideas??? Please help. thanks

Go into your Device Manager.. look under COM & LPT Ports.. do you see any Curitel devices listed?

yes I have curitel on comm 6 but when i try to do a download or upload it sits there like if going to upload but never does.....i tried this with verizon, telus and cricket??? Any ideas??? Please help. thanks

I tried Bitpin and i dont get any settings at all. it's configured right but i see nothing from my phone. this program looks a little harder than brewsky. any other suggestions??? Please help. thanks

if you wander off that tutorial you will see a wallpaper creator. (based on any pic off your computer) as well as free wallpaper gallery and ringtone downloads.
