Request Help Software for Audiovox/Sharp/Verizon Z800


I am hoping someone out there can help me.

I recently purchased a Verizon Wireless branded Sharp Corp manufactured Audiovox supported Z800. It is seems nice enough. Signal has held up pretty well. Display is nice. Battery life could be better but is dealable.

With the phone I got the manual and the data cable. But the person I bought it from did not have the software (CD-Z800). Verizon gives me the run around taht on their prepay they do not support images and ringtones. Fine. The software is for PC sync and has nothing to do with their network. I contacted Sharp and they cannot do anything by the contract with Verizon. VzW was supposed to handle all tech support. Audiovox has yet to contact me with wether they actually have the software or not.

I have done every search for software and come up with little. People suggest FutureDial SnapSync. I dont have the money to blow on it right now to find out it doesnt work. Does anyone know if it really works without oem software? Or if anyone has a copy of the Mobile Phone Manager Software that originally came with the phone?

Software Found


Verizon Wireless was no help. The only answer they would give me was that they did not support ringtones or pictures on my phone. Meanwhile the original software they gave with the phone puts them on the phone.

I went through quite a few technicians at Audiovox as well. They were able and did help me get a copy. Thank you to all who may have looked for me.
