Bluetooth Wireless Adapter CDM8900 Questions

I have an Audiovox CDM8900 cell phone and wanted to purchase a bluetooth headset for it. I know this phone is not bluetooth enabled and I would need a adapter for it. I wanted to know if the Jabra BT800 headset and the Jabra A210 adapter would work with this phone. Also the A110 power adapter for both of these products, would that work? Thanks Justin.

I have a Audio 9900. My problem was not with headset, but with the adapter. I could not for the life of me get one to work with my phone. If you do find one that works, please post what model and brand you got to work.

What adapter do you have because I was looking to purchase the Jabra A210. It says my phone CDM8900 is compatible with the A210 universal adapter and BT800 headset but nothing is really clear. I wish there was a site that said which phones are compatible with which headsets and adapters. It would take much of the confusion out of this. I do not think our phones are in the same family meaning have the same plugs but here is a link to the A210.
It says it's fitted with a 2.5 mm headset jack. I wish I could be more helpful. But if anyone knows anything about these phones and compatibility with these adapters and headsets please let us know. Thanks, Justin.

I just did some research and I found out the Jabra A210 is compatible with the Audiovox CDM8900 and CDM9900 and that it can work with any headset. It probably works best with other Jabra headsets. The adapter has a 2.5mm jack that you plug into the headset hole on your phone (mine is on the top of the phone). I was looking into the Jabra BT800 headset but any headset should work so maybe theyre might be a cheaper one I could look at. Good luck with this. Justin.
