Get an app like Bitpim or QPST to do any transferring of data, but be careful, Audiovox/Curitel phone filesystems are very touchy if you screw it up.
For anything more specific, you'd have to say what phone you have.

the thing is I don't know what to do next. I have the data cable hooked up but I don't know where to find any software to help send the ringtone or can't find any ringtones to send to my phone.

Google for QPST and go to www.Bitpim.org.
Curitel drivers can be found here:
http://www.curitel.com/UploadDATA/mf...115CPCSync.zip
Install that, then reboot, before installing QPST or Bitpim.

QPST recognized my phone. Now how do I send ringtones to my phone using QPST?

You have to make sure the file is of the same type, size and extension as current a ringer, and overwrite the one on the phone.
Keep in mind, this is NOT as easy as it sounds. You have to do it exactly right or else you can screw up your phone.
