hmmm....good question. You should be able to run your battery all the way down to nothing, and then recharge it with no problem.

Have you left it on the charger for awhile to see what happens?

yea, its been on the charger for 12 hours with no change at all, all that is on is the little green led light above the sub lcd screen, but it dont seem to be acceptin the charge, also how come it wont turn on even when the battery is dead it will come party way on then say it is turnin off due to low battery, i have had it do that before but now it wont respond to any buttons i push or anything, its like its locked up, i have tried takin the battery out and puttin it back in but nothing whats the problem anyone???

I had a problem like this, and it turned out to be a bad charger.

Go to a store, and try a 8900 or 8910 battery in the phone and see if it works.

i was talkin to a friend who has a 8910 also and she said she has the same problem you have to push or hold the charger to one side on the phone inorder for it to charge, im goin to try her charger today and see what happens, im convinced this is the biggest pile of crap phone that they make, im startin to have serious thoughts about switching

You may have damaged the pin inside the DC jack on the phone.

This has happened to others, and might be covered under warranty.
