Hello, a friend of mine has a Huawei Pinnacle through Metro PCS and when she sends me texts, even small ones, I get a notice on my Audiovox CDM-8615 to access a pic-flix message from the nearest computer. She is not sending me any graphics or cute smileys so I contacted Verizon who suggested she change her text mode to SMS rather than MMS. Does that sound like the thing to do or something else? Thanks for the help!

Yes, it does sound like the text messages are being switched to multimedia messages (MMS). That usually happens with large text messages or graphics, like you said. I would recommend checking to make sure there aren't any settings to make all messages send as an MMS. If there isn't an option for that, it would be best to contact MetroPCS, since they're the one that supplied the phone and since it is on their network.
