Well bugger me gently, Mavis... Vodafone with new 2.5G infrastructure?

1. wow.. they haven't done anything new since MPOH
2. why 2.5G when they should be concentrating on 3G?

Why should a carrier concentrate on 3G? That's not always the most
appropriate technology to deploy if the conditions suit previous
technologies better. Optus still, as far as I know, installs new GSM
installations regularly to 'fill in' coverage losses from time to time.
