Has anyone heard of the lock code on a Kyocera Koi changing by itself.
The code I've had on my phone no longer works after having had the phone
for 11 months. I know I didn't change it, and with the phone being a
"twist" phone (looks a bit like a flip phone, only it twists) it would
be hard for keypresses to have happened accidently.

I'll take it back to the dealer tomorrow. Luckily it's under warranty
if there's a fault in the handset. I was just wondering if anyone had
heard of this happening. I have to admit that if someone was telling me
they had had this happen, I'd probably suggest they were dreaming,
drunk, or had been partaking of some wacky weed.

It sounds more like someone has changed it without your knowing.
As a user programmable feature, be ready to be charged a fee for non
    warranty......

Actually I stand corrected. You are quite right, Graeme. The lock codes on
most Kyocera Koi have been defaulting to 7111 without user intervention.
There's no need to take it to a service center, just enter 7111 and change
it to what you like from there.
Apparently some over the air programming may have been slightly incompatible
    with the Koi.

Thanks. I'd already returned it to the dealer before I read your
response. I sent them a fax, but unfortunately, they didn't read the
fax until after the courier had been and picked up my phone. Hopefully
it'll be returned more quickly than the last time it was away. It would
freeze up randomly and had to go back to Kyocera. It took them 7 weeks
    to return it.
