His name, if it's the same fellow, was rather prominent in the old
Fidonet network of BBSes in days gone by.

That'd make him at least "mature". Unfortunately, so too was Speed
somewhat "prominent" in Fidonet. In fact, he was the centre of a huge
bunfight between "sysops" or BBS system operators at one time.
