My friend tell me that I can install some software on my phone then I
have a navigation system when travelling. I never tried that before,
which one I should choose? Tomtom, wayfinder or nav4all, nav is free,
but its quite new, i'm not sure about that, any help there?

This will only work if your phone is compatible (for starters, it needs GPS
    functionality)

For use in Australia I use Navman v3 (Windows Mobile), the navigation itself
is quite good but the software in general is quite buggy. It will work with
    any GPS that supports NMEA.

    www.wild-mobile.com

SmartcomGPS...works brilliantly on a Symbian phone eg. Nokia 6260., N70 etc.

Uses Oziexplorer maps or your own from BMP, JPG, PNG images.

Just done Sydney and Melbourne an din between...no probs.

This is MOVING MAP software so won;t calculate a route for you.

Version 1.52 and very fully featured. Can load large maps and display
portion into memory as needed. Am using maps anyway from a few hundred
kilobytes to 96megabytes (street level, ALL of Sydney).

Can convert Oziexplorer by exporting in Oziexplorer to image and using the
    tool from Smartcomgps website.

Then use the calibration maps from oziexplorer (.map file).

Hey....I am currently using Nav4All....I got it 3 weeks ago and I must say its really impressive. The voice navigation is far better than I imagined. And the good thing is that since its software is on a server it is being updated really regularly. I am going to go to China next month and I really cant wait to use it in Beijing....
