Daughter just arrived from UK with a motorola V3 that appears to be locked
to Orange. She wants to use it in Aus on Vodafone. It keeps asking for a
SUBSIDY password. What does this mean? Can anybody provide the SUBSIDY
password so I can unlock it. I can provide the IMEI number and the old UK
phone number if needed.

Just guessing - the phone was subsidies from Orange, and they have the
"subsidy" password to unlock it?
