The dodo website is far from clear, so I thought I'd add some info here.

The 1/2 price rate is done by doubling credits on recharge.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that includes the initial credit,
so the $20 starter pack gives $40 nominal credit, good for 30 days.

The promo is to 15th october, but it looks like you can recharge before
that to get double credit, so get cheap calls beyond.

Basic call rate 25c + 15c/30sec. 19c SMS , so half that until october.
Min recharge $15, 'active' for 60 days. I think if you recharge,
you extend the expiry of existing credit, as is normal.

Network is vodafone. GPRS is timed - $1 per 5 mins.
