What country are you in? It is pointless cross posting a question like
this in multiple newsgroups that are related to different countries when
it is specific to one country.

The software he's trying to sell has been freely available for years (doubt
Crux will be too happy about him trying to peddle it), plus his eBay tat
manages to be nicely filtered by any decent hosts file due to him using
****ty qksrv links. All in all, not a good start.

You cant have it "reinstated"
You are a useless pov, or druggy.
Go and buy another starter kit

usually with voda you can as long as you are prepared to pay a fee of ~$30 and
it has been disabled/quarantined for less than a further 6? months.

That's the other option of course. Better value, new number. May help cover
your tracks.

Why not? Isn't the number linked with the SIM's serial number? Is the number
allocated to the SIM given to someone else once a SIM is blocked from
registering for any reason or does it stay allocated forever?
Craig.

Simple, you let it lapse and they re-allocate the number to the next pov
or druggie.
Phone numbers are a limited resource, you were obviously not using your
number so they have re-issued it! Get over it! Get a new number!

That's the way they have chosen to do it.

Not after its been 'switched off'

Eventually, yes.
